Supporting Canadian Researchers
The Digital Research Alliance of Canada plays a key role in supporting researchers at Canadian institutions by providing access to tools through the Digital Research Infrastructure (DRI). Through the DRI ecosystem, the Alliance aims to ensure Canada remains as leader in global research and innovation.
Enabling Impactful Research
The Alliance provides researchers at Canadian institutions with access to advanced research computing (ARC), research data management (RDM), and research software (RS). By working closely with researchers, institutions, and organizations, the Alliance promotes equitable access to resources, improve research capacity, and support the evolving needs of Canada’s research community.
Government-Supported Initiative
As a non-profit organization funded by the Government of Canada, the Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing researchers at Canadian institutions with access to world-class infrastructure and the tools needed to conduct impactful research.
Guiding Principles
The Alliance operates on five core principles to support researchers in Canada and advance the DRI ecosystem:
